Sullivan calls for accountability and oversight on Fed stimulus money
Earlier this week, I introduced House Bill 5717 which would create a legislative oversight committee to watchdog Rhode Island's share of the federal stimulus package and make sure it is used to help rebuild our economy and put more Rhode Islanders to work.
I introduced the bill because I believe we need public input and accountability in this process and if you agree, I hope you'll take a minute and call the Speakers office at 401-222-2457, or send a quick note to the good folks in the House and Senate to tell them you support the oversight legislation.
